#KiniNews: PM announces MCO for six states from Jan 13
Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin today unveiled tougher measures to control the spread of Covid-19, this includes the implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) in six states - Penang, Selangor, Federal Territories (Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan), Melaka, Johor and Sabah - for 14 days, from Wednesday until January 26.
Another six states - Pahang, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan - will be under the ongoing conditional MCO.
The Recovery MCO will be enforced in Perlis and Sarawak for the same period.

#KiniNews: CMCO in Seremban; M'sia reports 1054 new cases, 12 deaths
The Seremban district in Negeri Sembilan will be placed under the conditional movement control order (MCO) between Nov 5 to Nov 18 to curb the spread of Covid-19.

#KiniNews: Gov't may make wearing masks compulsory, says PM
Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin revealed that the government is considering making the use of face masks compulsory to further curb the spread of Covid-19.
Muhyiddin warned that if Covid-19 infections were to increase again, then the government would be forced to impose another lockdown and the economy would suffer.
